Luton Navratri Association (LNA) was founded in 2004 through the collaboration of various communities across Luton, who came together under one shared vision — to celebrate Navratri as a united community. What began as a small initiative to bring people together, particularly the younger generation, has since grown into one of the largest and most vibrant Navratri celebrations in the region.
Since its inception, LNA has proudly organised and hosted Navratri festivities to serve and bring joy to the diverse population of Luton. Thanks to the continued support, encouragement, donations, and feedback from our community, we’ve been able to grow year after year — creating a space where everyone is welcome, regardless of background, age, or faith.
Our events attract a wide cross-section of the community — from school and university students to professionals, local business owners, and retirees — all coming together to celebrate the festival of the Mother Goddesses. LNA is proud to host an inclusive, family-friendly event that preserves the rich tradition of Navratri while fostering unity and cultural pride.
In 2024, we were honoured to receive official charity status — a testament to how far we’ve come since our humble beginnings in 2004. This milestone reflects the dedication of our volunteers, the generosity of our supporters, and the spirit of togetherness that defines LNA.
Bringing the community together each year is both a privilege and a joy. We look forward to continuing this celebration for many years to come!
